1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Heart IT Web Design Ltd website and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Heart IT Web Design Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 09440099.
2. Services
Heart IT provides web design, web development, search engine optimisation (SEO), digital marketing and related services. All services are subject to a separate quotation or proposal which will outline the specific deliverables, timelines and costs.
3. Quotations & Payments
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A deposit of 50% is required before work commences, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the project. All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT Number: 320806239.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client will own the rights to the final deliverables. Heart IT retains the right to display the work in our portfolio and case studies. Any third-party assets (stock images, fonts, plugins) are subject to their own licence terms.
5. Website Hosting & Maintenance
Website hosting and maintenance are provided as a separate ongoing service. These services are billed monthly or annually and include server hosting, SSL certificates, security updates and up to 2 hours of content updates per month. Cancellation requires 30 days written notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
Heart IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
If a project is cancelled by the client after work has commenced, the client will be invoiced for all work completed up to that point. Deposits are non-refundable. Heart IT reserves the right to cancel a project if the client fails to provide required materials or feedback within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
