Launching Equinox Engineering: Brand and Website in Seven Days

We’re delighted to introduce a brand new company online: Equinox Engineering, a Liverpool-based electrical contractor backed by 25 years in the trade. From the very first sketches of the logo through to a fully live website, the whole project ran in just seven days.

About the client

Equinox Engineering is a new electrical contractor business launched by an electrician with a quarter-century of hands-on experience. The proposition is refreshingly direct: an electrician you can hand the keys to, fully BS 7671 compliant, comfortable across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors, and quietly confident enough not to need to shout about it. Based in Liverpool, available UK-wide.

The brief

A new company needs a starting point, and Equinox came to us before any of the visual pieces existed. No logo, no name treatment, no website, no copy. The brief was end-to-end: brand it, build it, get it live, and make it ready to take enquiries from day one. Crucially it had to look as serious as the work itself, because the clients Equinox wants to attract (facilities managers, commercial landlords, industrial sites) judge the website the same way they’d judge a quote.

Brand identity

The wordmark sets the tone. EQUINOX is typeset in a wide, near-monospaced sans serif with the letters spaced to feel deliberate and engineered. Above it sits a single arc that gives the lockup a quiet sense of scale and motion, like a horizon line. “ENGINEERING” sits below in a smaller, restrained weight, framed by thin rules either side, giving the whole mark a measured, professional posture.

The palette is deep navy and engineered teal. Traditional enough to feel established; modern enough to feel current. The teal is reserved for accents (the years claim in the headline, key callouts, primary CTAs) so it pops without ever feeling busy.

The website

The site is built around a single clear promise: Electrical services with 25 years behind every job. That headline anchors the homepage, with the experience claim picked out in teal so it’s the first thing a visitor reads.

Underneath the hero, four trust signals run on a single row: years in the trade, BS 7671 compliant, certified work, Liverpool based and UK-wide. From there the page splits into three clear sector cards (Domestic, Commercial, Industrial), each with its own service breakdown and route to enquiry. A “Why Equinox” block and a clean closing CTA round it out. The whole site is fast, mobile-first, and unobtrusive about being a marketing site.

Seven days, start to finish

Total elapsed time, from “we need a brand and a website” to a live URL with the phone ringing: seven days. Brand design, copy, build, content load, performance pass, and DNS, all inside a week. That kind of pace only works because the brief was tight, the client made decisions quickly, and we kept feedback loops short on both sides.
