We’re pleased to relaunch the website for Immaculate Makeup, the Liverpool aesthetics and laser clinic founded by Lydia Mary. It’s a full refresh: new design, smarter UX, refreshed content, and a serious round of speed optimisation.
About the client
Immaculate Makeup is an advanced aesthetics and laser clinic based on Moss Lane in Liverpool, led by Lydia Mary with over 17 years of experience. The clinic specialises in natural-looking aesthetic treatments, Primelase laser hair removal, semi-permanent makeup, and professional training masterclasses. The brand is built on a single, clear promise: Be Inspired. Be Admired. Be Desired.
Why the refresh?
Lydia’s clinic had grown a long way since the previous site was built, and the website needed to catch up. The treatment menu had expanded, the brand had matured into something more refined, and visitor expectations had shifted. People now browse on phones, scroll fast, and decide in seconds whether a clinic feels like “the one”. The old site was still doing the job, but it wasn’t doing it as gracefully as the rest of the business.
What we did
This was a full rebuild rather than a tweak. The brief covered four big areas:
- Design. A cleaner, more confident visual language anchored in the brand’s soft lavender palette and serif headlines. Plenty of breathing room. Photography given the space to do the heavy lifting.
- UX and information architecture. A clearer route from homepage to treatment, and from treatment to booking. Aesthetics, Laser Hair Removal, SPMU and Training each get their own clear pathway, and the booking call-to-action stays in sight at every step.
- Content. Service pages rewritten in plainer, more reassuring language. Testimonials brought forward. A more direct “here’s exactly what to expect” tone, calibrated to clients who often arrive a bit nervous.
- Performance. A speed-first rebuild: optimised imagery, modern fonts loaded efficiently, and clean front-end code. The result is a site that feels instant on mobile, which matters because almost every enquiry starts on a phone.
The hero moment
The new homepage opens with a soft, almost ethereal hero pairing the brand tagline with the now-iconic angel imagery. It’s a quiet statement of confidence: the clinic doesn’t need to shout, and the design follows suit.

Built for the way clients actually decide
Underneath the design polish is a structure that maps onto how aesthetics clients really make decisions. The services section is laid out as four clear cards. The “What our clients say” block puts testimonials front and centre. Gift vouchers are positioned where intent is highest. A persistent “Book Now” button keeps the next action one tap away from anywhere on the site.
What the client said
“I originally had my website designed by Joe around 12 years ago and, although it has been regularly maintained and updated over the years, the clinic has evolved significantly and it was time for a refresh.”
“Thomas took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking to achieve and understood the direction I wanted to take the business. Rather than simply making a few changes, he completely modernised the website whilst keeping the core Immaculate Makeup branding and identity that clients recognise.”
“The new website now reflects the clinic far more accurately as an Advanced Aesthetics & Laser Clinic, whilst still retaining the personality and history of the business. Throughout the process Thomas was patient, responsive and happy to make amendments based on my feedback. Nothing felt like too much trouble and he genuinely wanted to get the end result right.”
“After over a decade with the original website, I was naturally apprehensive about making changes, but I am absolutely delighted with the finished result. The website feels fresh, modern, professional and much more aligned with the clinic today.”
“Thank you Thomas for all your hard work, attention to detail and for bringing my vision to life. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for website design, development or ongoing website support.”
